I'm a local university student and majority of the students in uni do not apply cosmetics for classes. So, i thought i wanted to try it on. Last week, i applied some make up. Very light but yet noticeable. So, as i've expected..my friends questioned me. The first person who asked me was Gary. He asked, "What's with all that on your eyes?". So, i said that i was gonna go out with my friends after class which was actually true. Okay. Later on, few of my girl friends asked me about the make up as well. So, i explained.
I didn't tell them that i was actually trying to find out what will the reactions be if i put on make up to uni. Maybe they reacted that way because i dun usually put on any make up for classes. I guess i must have looked a little different with some colours on my face.
I guess it's ok to have a little make up on when we go for classes. Not too thick cause we're not on stage or anything. I never thought of putting make up for classes before this because I usually have no time to even stand in front of the mirror before driving to uni. It is fun to do some of the *girly* stuff sometimes. Though i enjoy putting on make up but i dun think i'll do that often for classes.
Putting on make up does not mean that we are vain or anything negative. It is something we do to make ourselves feel more confident. If we know how to use our cosmetics, it can surely help to brighten up our face and make us look good =)
We should not discourage our friends whenever they put on make up. If they truly look good, let them know. We should not break people but help them grow. But, if they dun look good in your eyes, help them. Maybe give a suggestion which can help your friend look better.
For girls who want to get a little bit more attention (Note- little bit) *wink*wink..Hehe! light make up will definitely do you good. Although, cosmetics can help us, but we must always keep in mind that it is always our true self that will draw others to us. It is our inner beauty which will make people enjoy our company. Our inner self will last forever whereas outer looks will not remain the same as we age.
All I want to say before ending this post is - Girls, enjoy fooling around with cosmetics because they are our best friend (besides diamonds) hehe! I enjoyed putting on make up and i hope you will too :)
