Personally, i think everyone is selfish. We are selfish because all we care is ourselves. But, if we are selfish because we care for more than just ourselves..is that "selfishness" right? Who is to judge?
Can we be selfish for the right reasons? or is still still selfishness after all?therefore, we can't be selfish?It is difficult to always do the right thing and yet be selfless.
I am not perfect.
To me, selfishness is an act of "not thinking for others in our words or doings." Life is unpredictable. Sometimes, you get away with it but sometimes you don't. Sometimes, even when you're truly selfish, others still adore you and think of you as someone who is kind and nice and all the good stuff. And when you are trying to have a balance which is to be selfish and at the same time know that this selfishness is for the good of others as well, you are hated! How do we know if we're being selfish in the "right" way? What's selfishness? The more i think, the more i'm confused.
